Position overview:

The role involves developing and executing tailored social media strategies for the Brazilian market, adapting global marketing approaches to resonate with local consumers.

Required skills:

  • Fluent in Portuguese (native or near-native proficiency) and proficient in English.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian social media landscape and popular platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp).
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, ideally within the Brazilian market.
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian culture, online behaviors, and digital trends.
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and influencer marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in social media metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies specifically designed for the Brazilian market.
  • Adapt global marketing strategies to ensure they resonate with Brazilian consumers.
  • Identify key local trends, influencers, and emerging platforms to keep the brand culturally relevant.
  • Content Creation and Localization:
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) tailored to Brazilian tastes and preferences.
  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure that all content is localized for the Brazilian audience, including language (Portuguese) and cultural context.
  • Planned and maintained a social media content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts across various platforms.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and culturally appropriate manner.
  • Foster conversations and build relationships with the Brazilian community to increase engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Monitor and report on customer feedback, trends, and sentiment to improve content and customer service.
  • Influencer Partnerships and Collaborations:
  • Identify and collaborate with local influencers and content creators to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Manage influencer partnerships, from outreach to execution, ensuring alignment with the brand’s objectives and values.
  • Track the success of influencer campaigns and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Analyze social media performance metrics (engagement rates, growth, reach, etc.) and adjust strategies based on data.
  • Provide regular reports on key social media metrics to track growth, engagement, and ROI for the Brazilian market.
  • Use insights from data analysis to optimize content, targeting, and overall strategy.
  • Trend Monitoring and Competitor Analysis:
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and tools in Brazil to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
