Lead DevOps Engineer

Required skills:

• Deep understanding of server hardware characteristics, including processors, memory, storage, and network adapters.
• Knowledge of RAID principles and experience configuring and managing RAID arrays.
• Experience with various virtualization technologies such as KVM, LXC (Proxmox), etc.
• Thorough understanding of virtual machine principles, including resource management and migration.
• Knowledge of basic principles of network configuration and routing.
• Understanding of physical server room security principles and access control.
• Knowledge of basic principles of data protection at hardware and network levels.
• Experience with Terraform for automating the creation and management of infrastructure in the cloud and/or on physical servers.
• Knowledge and experience with deployment automation tools such as Ansible or similar.
• Leadership qualities.

As a plus:

• Experience managing DevOps teams, including task allocation, motivation, and employee development.
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at various levels and stakeholders.
• Ability to make strategic decisions and develop action plans to achieve infrastructure team goals.
