Required skills:

Higher technical education (preferably in IT or telecommunications) is a plus.
7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in backbone networks.
Deep knowledge of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
Experience with equipment from leading manufacturers (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
Ability to work with network monitoring systems.
Skills in automation and orchestration systems.
Experience in programming and automation (preferred).
Proficiency in English.
Attention to detail, stress resilience, ability to work in a multitasking environment.
Responsibility and ability to make quick decisions in critical situations.
Team player with strong communication skills.

As a plus:

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, or similar.
Experience working for a company providing backbone or ISP services.
Knowledge of information security.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and support the functionality of the operator's backbone network.
Diagnose and resolve network incidents at L2/L3 levels.
Handle requests and incidents from clients and partners.
Configure and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
Collaborate with engineers from other departments to address incidents related to network infrastructure.
Participate in planning and conducting preventive maintenance on the network.
Support and develop monitoring and alerting systems.
Maintain technical documentation, reports on incidents and emergencies.
