Our client is an IT company which burst into life in 2007 as the brainchild of two Stanford Business MBA graduates who possessed an innate love of gaming. Initially, the entrepreneurs developed casual games for Facebook and mobile, before having a ‘light-bulb moment’ in 2009 and refocusing their efforts with laser-guided precision on the entertainment sector. They have been bringing world-class social slots to real slots fans ever since.

The perfect candidate should have a portfolio of shipping HTML5 interactive applications and be highly technical with good hands-on skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and other relevant technologies.

You should have good people skills and enjoy being a team player. As a part of the team, you will be focused on delivery while still maintaining good quality.

Required skills:

3+ years of experience in the development (including JavaScript/TypeScript);
Knowledge of architectural patterns;
Jira, Git;
Continuous Delivery;
Gulp and WebPack.

As a plus:

Experience in Spine would be a big plus;
Pixi.js/Phaser or other js game engines.

Responsibilities:

Iteratively build games and other frontend systems. From turning concept art and mock-ups into a working prototype, right up to the production-ready product;
Help optimize the asset quality to reduce loading time and bandwidth usage;
Debug and test system games across different platforms and feed the results back into the design and development process;
Development of the gamesusing industry leading technologies and standards;
Build and maintain libraries and frameworks to be used by the development team;
Recommend and implement new ideas and technologies.
