Required skills:

- Bachelor's degree in game development, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent comparable experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a game client developer position, preferably but not necessarily within the online casino or slot game industry.
- Proficiency and good working knowledge of object oriented programming experience.
- Working knowledge of 2D game development.
- Experience with Cocos Creator, and PixiJS (good to have), and a willingness to work across these engines.
- Broad understanding of different game technology areas (gameplay, graphics, tools, etc.).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong desire to create captivating and appealing games!
Responsibilities:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with game producers and backend developers to ensure the correct implementation of game mechanics.
- Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for game clients, ensuring optimal performance and a smooth gaming experience.
- Compatibility: Optimize code size and speed to make the most of each device's technological capacities. Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments and development guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to identify, track, and resolve issues during the development process.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize client code and assets to achieve high frame rates, low latency, game build size and efficient use of system resources.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in the gaming industry.
